STAND is a student-based organization dedicated to raise awareness and funds for violent conflicts, primarily genocide.  At Hicksville, STAND will be committed to raising community awareness for these conflicts, particularly the Darfur situation.  The group will meet periodically, plan fundraising events, and build a sustainable student involvement.
