Thank you to Mrs. Vance from First Federal who spoke to our 7th and 8th grade career classes. It was interesting to hear about the lending department.


The Hicksville Science Club bundled up and enjoyed an evening of stargazing with the Fort Wayne Astronomical Society. Members were able to observe Saturn, Jupiter, the Moon, and several star clusters. It was such a great night for stargazing!

Students in grades 5-8 are presenting the musical, āFrozen Jr.ā at the Huber on November 22, 23rd and 24th. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased through the following link or at the door. No tickets will be sold in the school offices.

Thank you to NEMCO Food Equipment President Michelle Wibel for assisting with the STEAM 10 project judging on Thursday! Students conducted research and developed marketing plans for the PaniniPro panini maker.

HMS girls had a STEMtastic time participating in today's BGSU Women in STEM event. The girls learned about radiation, taste tested and planted microgreens, and engineered a marble maze with the Imagination Station. These girls represented Hicksville well!




Mrs. Zachrichās Algebra 1 students are eating spider eggs (zombie skittles) while reviewing Algebra questions today.



The fifth grade students enjoyed a presentation on owls by Jason from the Defiance Soil and Water Conservation District and dissected owl pellets to discover what they eat!




HHS seniors in English 12 visited BGSU to complete university-level research for the senior projects at the Jerome Library. Students also took a campus tour and ate at The Oaks Dining Hall on campus. This research trip is annually organized by Mr. Gahagan and Mrs. Hoffman.
