Reminder: Students in Grades 5-12 are encouraged to dress for Color Block Thursday! Grades 5/9 are encouraged to dress in blue, Grades 6/10 in white, Grades 7/11 in green, and Grades 8/12 in red. Try to wear as much of your class color as you can!
Reminder: Tomorrow (Wednesday) is supposed to be quite cold, so it's a great day for the Winter Wonderland theme. Students in Grades 5-12 are encouraged to dress in their hats, gloves, scarves, etc. for school tomorrow.
Reminder: Tomorrow students in Grades 5-12 are encouraged to dress up as something they might find in Santa's Workshop. We have heard so many ideas including presents, elves, reindeer, candy canes, Mr. & Mrs. Clause, cookies and milk, and so many more!
VARSITY BOYSā ROUTE 49 CLASSIC ā The Varsity Boysā Route 49 Classic on December 28th at Hicksville will begin two hours earlier than originally scheduled. The consolation game will begin at 4:00PM followed by the championship game.
Middle school career classes had guest speaker Mrs. Gregg in on Friday to talk about her interesting job in the health care sector.
The Yearbook Class is in need of sports pictures for grades 7-12. We are trying to highlight as many students as possible. If you have images you are willing to share of students engaged in fall sports, please email to laneyk@hicksvilleschools.org.
JV GIRLSā ROUTE 49 CLASSIC ā There has been a change in the schedule for the JV Girlsā Route 49 Classic. The first game of the tournament will be played on December 19th at Edon (JH Gym) at 6:00PM. Hicksville will play in the second game that will begin at approximately 7:00PM.
JV GIRLS' ROUTE 49 CLASSIC - The second round of the JV Girls' Route 49 Classic will take place on Friday, December 27th at Hicksville. The consolation game will begin at 10:00AM followed by the championship game.
Hicksville is on a two hour delay repeating Hicksville Schools is on a two hour delay.
REMINDER: Students in Grades 5-12 can stay cozy in their pajamas tomorrow to celebrate Merry Monday Morning! For HMS students participating in Monday's theme day, you will receive a ticket from Mr. Rosebrock or Ms. Rees to be entered into a prize drawing during HB.

We are thrilled to announce the cast of Little Shop of Horrors! We would like to congratulate the cast and thank everyone for auditioning! Come see the show April 2, 3, 4, and 5 at the Huber! This is going to be a show that you wonāt want to miss!
If your child is missing an item of clothing please have them check the most and found table! We have a TON of items that have been turned in.
CANDY-GRAMS will be available for purchase during high school lunch starting Monday, December 16. They will be delivered on Friday, Dec. 20.

A soccer field in the library? Mr. Ferrellās STEAM 10 designed Vex robots to play soccer. The matches were played in the LMC. Our library is ALL about learning in every form!
HMS Student Council is helping students in Grades 5-8 get into the holiday spirit! This week at lunch, Candy Cane Grams can be ordered for any student (Grades 5-8) or HEVS Teacher. The Holiday Break Theme Week will be NEXT week (beginning on 12/16).
