Electrical engineer Rich Lysaght discussed engineering career opportunities with Mr. Ferrellās 10th grade STEAM classes on Friday. Thank you, Mr. Lysaght, for sharing your expertise and insights!
7th and 8th grade Career classes enjoyed listening to engineer Nick Kreigh from Nemco.
Active learning in the library! Mr. Ferrellās STEAM 7 worked on programming robots so they will be able to run through an obstacle course in the Innovation Lab.

Members of the Hicksville Science Club helped to reintroduce sturgeon into the Maumee River this morning with the Toledo Zoo. The sturgeon released by the students will grow to over 6 feet long and nearly 300 pounds over the next 15 years!

New this year! Middle School students can use the library after they finish eating lunch. The end of lunch period is a great time for students to read, work on their laptops, and experience the Makerspace. It has been very popular. We love having students learn in the library!
