Just a reminder. The government is not providing free school lunches this year. Contact the office if you have not completed a free and reduced application for eligibility. An alternate lunch will be given to all students with a negative balance beginning Thursday of this week.

Students in grades 5th through 12th - computer pickup will continue this week. It will be tomorrow from 9 AM - Noon and 1 PM - 3 PM. Next week, Monday - Friday, pickup will be available again 9 AM - Noon and 1 PM - 3 PM. There will also be one evening day next Tuesday, August 16th from 4 PM - 7 PM. Laptop Pickup will begin this week. Beginning August 8th until August 19th student Laptops can be picked up Monday through Friday during the hours of 9 AM until Noon AND from 1 PM until 3 PM. You will need to pay the $40 computer protection fee and we ask you to have FinalForms completed. In the technology section there is a video explaining some of the poliies and procedures. It is a review for the upper classmen, but we ask everyone to watch the 2.5 minute video. Everyone is receiving a brand new laptop this year so the video provides a little guidance with the laptop expections. Here is a direct link to the video: Laptop Video. I know some people will not be able to make these times during the day. I will try and schedule one evening in the next two weeks. I will also be handing out laptops during open house on August 25th.

Qualifying Grade 7 & 8 students recently participated in the Quarter 4 Incentive at the Putt-Putt Fun Center in Defiance. Students had so much fun with putt-putt, laser tag, go-kart racing, and baseball batting cages. Thank you to the PTO for again sponsoring this incentive!
TRACK CLOSED - The school track at the park is currently closed for repairs and repainting. The track will remain closed for approximately 2 weeks.
Science 8 students participated in a field trip with Metroparks Toledo yesterday.
Canoeing was definitely the favorite activity! Thank you to all of our chaperones, bus drivers, and The Hicksville Foundation for sponsoring this experience.
Mrs. Gerken's Honors English 11 students enjoyed some Amanda Lee this morning. They were celebrating a great year and the end of their children's book project. Big shout-out to Amanda Lee Coffee! They were speedy, friendly, and made delicious drinks! Happy Friday!
