8th graders are headed home. Today we visited Mount Vernon, FDR Memorial, the Holocaust Museum, and the Air Force Memorial. A few less steps today but still very productive.

The 8th graders had a busy day. They went to Arlington National Cemetery, US History Museum, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and the World War II memorial. Many steps, miles, and flights of stairs were taken today.

The Hicksville Science Club was busy this afternoon cleaning and sorting caps and lids. We wanted to give a special shout out to Parker Haniffin for saving and donating so many caps! Thank you to all our community members who donated.
